Guía de Buenos Aires: ES/EN

Y porque me la vienen pidiendo hace muchísimo!! Armé la guía de esta increíble ciudad en la que vivo hace más de 9 años y la sigo viendo y disfrutando con ojos de turista.
Lo que más me gusta de Buenos Aires es la variedad de planes que tiene para ofrecer a diario, desde teatros, recitales, museos, parques, eventos artísticos y más.

¿Decime si no es hermoso cuando llegas a una ciudad y la recorres con un local o te llegan esas recomendaciones no tan turísticas que son mucho más auténticas y originales? Esa es un poco la idea de esta guía, proponerte ese tipo de actividades para que aproveches y disfrutes al máximo tus días en Buenos Aires, conociendo algunos lugares no tan típicos.
Y, para los que visitan Buenos Aires por primera vez, te comparto también algunos clásicos imperdibles.

Empezamos con los planes cool/ alternativos que le recomendaría a un amigo si visita Buenos Aires:

• Alquilá una bici o recorré caminando los Bosques de Palermo.

• Prepará la cámara de fotos y andá a caminar por la Calle Arroyo. Calle que muestra la influencia europea con su arquitectura tan linda. No dejes de tomar café en Kissaten Tostador o The Shelter Coffee.

• Ir al Río en Vicente López para ver el atardecer y caminar por los parques que bordean la costa. Y si estás con hambre podés comer algo rico en Mostrador Santa Teresita Olivos.

• Pasaje Echeverría: esta zona foodie se armó hace relativamente poco, justo detrás de la estación de tren de Barrancas de Belgrano, sobre un pasaje peatonal, una callecita con onda, y con varias propuestas gastronómicas desde ramen en Orei, café en Morro o Zarpado Café, Pizza en Pony, o un rico gin en Chintoneria, entre otros.
  Podés aprovechar también para pasear por el Barrio Chino.

• Pasar un día de relax en la naturaleza en Tigre, a 30 km de la capital. Pueden ir en tren. Una vez ahí pueden recorrer el Puerto de Frutos, navegar por el delta del río Paraná y si tenés ganas, hasta alquilar un lugar para pasar el fin de semana.

• Si te gusta el café, te propongo hacer un mini tour por estas cafeterías en Villa Crespo: Raiz, Cafe Te, Cobre Café, RVR.

• Una linda zona para conocer y recorrer caminando o en bici, es Belgrano R. Te comparto el dato de mi calle favorita en Buenos Aires: Calle Melián. Aprovechá para perderte por ese hermoso barrio.

• Recorrer Av. Libertador: pueden empezar desde Belgrano, pasando por el Hipódromo, el Rosedal, la facultad de derecho. Y por último perderse por Barrio Parque, barrio que tiene las casas más lindas de la ciudad.
  

Aviso: son varios kilómetros, cada uno puede elegir desde donde arrancar su recorrido.

• Otra zona para conocer, saliendo de la capital, es el barrio de San Isidro, muy lindo y tranquilo. con varios espacios verdes y costanera al río.

Recomendaciones para tomar un rico café: La Valiente, Pausa Café, Blu Café, y caminar por Plaza Mitre, justo donde termina la Catedral de San Isidro. Y si querés comer o caminar con vista al rio, te dejo mis recomendados: Fedras Garden o Malloys.

• No puede faltar un buen rooftop para ver la ciudad desde arriba!! Mi recomendado es Trade Sky Bar, increíble lugar para tomar algo rico y tener una vista espectacular a Puerto Madero. Nota clave: reservar con tiempo!

• Si estás con ganas de moverte, algo que recomiendo mucho y me encanta hacer, es ir a La Bomba De Tiempo a escuchar a una mega banda tocar percusión y hacer a todo el público bailar!! Esto es en el Konex. Dato: tocan solo los lunes y recomiendo sacar entradas previamente.

• Microteatro: acá podes ver obras cortas de 15 minutos y entre una y otra tomar o comer algo por Manduca, nuevo paseo gastronómico. Es un buen plan para hacer algo distinto por la ciudad.

• Ir a ver un show de tango y si te copa, tomar una clase

​Buenos Aires Guide: English Version

So, as many of you have been asking me to do this, I finally made a guide for those who are traveling to this amazing city, in which I have been living for more than 9 years.
A city that I still live in, and enjoy like a tourist!

What I like the most about Buenos Aires, is that it has plenty of plans to do every day, such as theaters, concerts, museums, parks, artistic events and so much more.

¿Isn’t it beautiful, when you arrive in a new city, and you get to know it with a local?, ¿Or when you receive great recommendations that are not the typical ones for the tourist?
This is kind of the idea for this guide. Let you know different activities so you can have the best time while you are in Buenos aires, getting to know those not so tourist places.
And, for those who are visiting Buenos Aires for the first time, I am shearing also, some of the classics.

Let’s start with the cool/ alternative plans, which I would recommend if a friend where visiting Buenos Aires:

• Rent a bike or walk around the Bosques de Palermo.

• Prepare your camera and take a walk down the Arroyo street. There you can see the European influence on the architecture, which is especially beautiful. Do not skip having a coffee in Kissaten Tostador or The Shelter Coffee.

• Go to the riverside in Vicente López, especially to see the sunset and take a walk through the parks on the coast. If you feel hungry, you can go to Mostrador Santa Teresita Olivos, and try any of their amazing dishes.

• Pasaje Echeverría: this kind of foodie zone is quite new. It is situated behind the train station in Barrancas de Belgrano, on a pedestrian street. It is a small cool zone, with a great variety of gastronomic proposals like ramen in Orei, coffee in Morro or Café Zarpado, great Pizza in Pony, or a good gin tonic in La Gintoneria.
  You can also take a walk around the Chinese neighborhood.

• Have a Relax day in nature, in Tigre, it is 30 km away from the capital, and you can go by train. There you can take a walk through the Puerto de frutos, navigate the Parana river, and if you feel like, rent a place to spend the weekend.
• If you like coffee, I suggest you to do a mini tour around this coffee shops in Villa Crespo. Raiz, Cafe Te, Cobre Café, RVR.
• A very beautiful neighborhood to walk around or also, for doing it by bike, is Belgrano R.
  I share with you my favorite street in Bueno Aires: Melian street. Once there, get lost in the streets of this zone, that is really nice.
• Take a walk through Libertador avenue: you can start from Belgrano, and pass along the Hipodromo, along the Rosedal, the Law University building, and at last, get lost around the streets of Barrio Parque, the neighborhood that has the most beautiful houses of the city.
  Warning: this is a long way, of many km, so you can choose where to start the journey.
• Another area to visit, outside the capital city, is  San Isidro, a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood, it is over the river, and has lots of green parks.
  Recommended places to have a coffee: La Valiente, Pausa Café, Blu Café, y and also take a walk trough  Plaza Mitre, just where the San Isidro Cathedral is located.
  And if you want to walk or have something to eat with the river view, my recommendations are: Fedras Garden or Malloys.
• You can’t miss a good Rooftop in the city to have a high view of Buenos Aires! My recommendation is Trade Sky Bar, an amazing place to have a drink, and eat too.​  There, you will have an awesome view of Puerto Madero. It is important to make a reservation with time before going.
• If you feel like moving and dancing, something I really like to do is going to La Bomba Del Tiempo, a show where you can listen to a great band of percussionists, that make all the audience dance! This is in Centro cultural Konex.
  Important data: this is only on Mondays, and it is better if you buy the tickets before the day of the show. 
• Microteatro: this is a theater complex, where you can see short plays of 15 minutes long, and in the meanwhile, have a drink at the bar that is also there. This is a good plan to do something different!

• Go to a Tango Show, and if you feel like, also have a class!!
• Puerto Madero:  one of the news neighborhood in Buenos Aires, full of hotels and gastronomic proposals.
• Take a walk over Palermo (Plaza Serrano zone, with lots of restaurantes, the craft fair during the weekends, small designers shops, and streets with graffiti and art.)
• ​Microcentro (Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Av. 9 de Julio and the Obelisco,  Barolo Palace  Colón theatre)
